Lainey Nguyen is a journalism student at Fordham University, originally from Jersey City, N.J. At WFUV, Lainey works as the student news manager, the senior producer of the "Strike A Chord" public service campaign, and hosts and reports for The WFUV "What's What" daily podcast. Lainey has a passion for sharing the stories of everyday people and reporting with empathy. Some of her work includes interviews with notable figures such as journalists Connie Chung and Vicky Nguyen, as well as local arts and culture coverage.
