"Real Clothes, Real Lives" Exhibit

WFUV's Lainey Nguyen takes us to the New York Historical Society to learn about how clothes can be used to tell the stories of women in society. The exhibit, "Real Clothes, Real Lives: 200 Years of What Women Wore" features pieces from the collection of Kiki Smith, a Smith College professor, of more than 4000 garments. From a maternity McDonald's uniform to a woman's suit from the early 20th century, the exhibit details how women's roles in society have changed over time.
