Alexandra Pfau is a reporter for WFUV and host for the “What’s What” daily news podcast. She is a junior at Fordham University and is currently studying political science and journalism. She joined WFUV in 2023. Alexandra grew up listening to NPR and various public radio stations, particularly the local station KEXP in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. 

In addition to hosting the daily news podcast, Alexandra has worked on WFUV’s public service campaign Strike a Chord. In the newsroom, she covers politics and New York City government, and aspires to be a political reporter.
