Who Has Your Vote?

This year’s race for the next mayor of New York City has been riddled with contentious debates, insults, accusations, and even the recent arrest of the current Comptroller. Now, the heated and crowded race is nearing its end. Tuesday, June 24, New Yorkers will go to the polls to vote in the Democratic Primary election. In just four short months, the whole city will vote for what’s been called the second hardest job in America.
In preparation for election day, I spoke with every candidate that accepted my request for an interview. We talked about a range of topics, as I sought to uncover the motivation and policy nuances of each candidate.
