Brenda Plascencia is a WFUV Reporter and a graduate student in Fordham University’s Public Media program, specializing in journalism. At the station, she writes and hosts the What’s What podcast, while also producing, writing, and hosting its weekly music news segment. She enjoys creating features focused on arts and culture in New York City. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Brenda earned her undergraduate degree in media, writing, and gender studies.
