Earlier this week, Arlo Parks visited Studio A for the first time for a forthcoming FUV Live session later this spring — and how lovely it was to talk to her, not over Zoom this time, but in person. Parks' second album, My Soft Machine, is released on May 26 and it's an eclectic mix, reflecting not only her wide-roaming vision when it comes to production and fresh directions, but her comfort with more autobiographical lyrics. On "UKNY" at 11 p.m., another new track, this one produced by Paul Epworth, from Arlo's soon-to-come second album.

The British-American duo Prima Queen — Chicago's Kristen McFadden and Bristol's Louise Macphail — have released their debut EP, Not the Baby, and I'll dig into another song from that excellent release. Four Tet's Kieran Hebden has been very busy of late, and I'll get to a couple of his most recent songs, both a post-Coachella solo release and a soulful collaboration.

Plus, the hard-rocking Northern Irish-Dutch, London-based pair Fraülein have a searing new single, New Order celebrate the 40th anniversary of a masterpiece, and Manchester's cruush have a dreamy debut EP of shoegazing bliss, called Wishful Thinker.

All that and more on "UKNY," Sundays from 11p.m.-midnight, on 90.7 FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
