The holidays are upon us! We've got you covered on WFUV.  Here's a lineup of special shows and programming changes, on 90.7 FM, streaming online (all times EST) from December 20-January 1.

Friday, December 20

Listen back to weekend shows via the Archives for up to two weeks.

  • 6pm- 9pm - On The Whole Wide World, Delphine Blue welcomes winter on the eve of the solstice.
  • 9pm-midnightThe Alternate Side - Join Russ Borris for your weekly Friday night hang with a sprinkling of some holiday jams mixed in.

Saturday, December 21

  • 6am-10am - FUV Music Mix with Janet Bardini 
  • 10am-1pm - FUV Music Mix with Delphine Blue
  • 1pm-4pmFUV Music Mix with Darren DeVivo
  • 4pm-8pm - It's a Mixed Bag Christmas with Don McGee — the perfect soundtrack for wrapping presents, baking cookies and trimming the tree.
  • 8pm-11pm - FUV Music Mix with Benham Jones

Sunday, December 22

  • 8am-11am - It's a traditional Irish Christmas on Kathleen Biggins' A Thousand Welcomes with tunes evocative of the season, songs old and new, dancing and recitations from The Chieftains, Liam Neeson, Cherish the Ladies and more.
  • 12pm-4pm - Ceol na nGael celebrates a Celtic Christmas with an afternoon of Irish Christmas favorites, including Patrick Mangan, The Chieftains, The Irish Rovers, and many more.
  • 4pm-6pm - Sunday Supper with John Platt will feature its annual festival of holiday songs for both Christmas and Hanukkah, a mix of traditional carols, popular standards, and original songs by artists old and new.
  • 6pm-9pm -  Cavalcade with Paul Cavalconte has its usual mix of cool tunes.
  • 9pm-11pm FUV Mix with Benham Jones.
  • 11pm-midnight - UKNY with Kara Manning is bundled in a winter coat of songs with snowy Yule tidings.

Monday, December 23

  • House of Wax at 8pm - Eric Holland will put a pair of enduring faves on the turntables: Aimee Mann's One More Drifter in the Snow from 2006 and Elvis Presley's Elvis' Christmas Album from 1957.

Tuesday, December 24

  • 6pm-midnight - Home for the Holidays mix. Nothing but songs in the spirit of the season and Christmas (the DJs have the night off).

Wednesday, December 25

  • Midnight-1:30am -  Midnight Mass from Fordham University Church
  • 4am-midnight - An all-day Home for the Holidays mix of Christmas songs and more; a soundtrack to your day. (The DJs have the day off).

Saturday, December 28

  • 4pm-8pm - A "joyful earful" as Mixed Bag celebrates Hanukkah, welcomes winter, and says so long to 2024..

Sunday, December 29

  • 12pm-4pm - Ceol na nGael wraps up a month of Celtic Christmas music with an afternoon of Irish Christmas favorites, including Mick Moloney, Cherish the Ladies, Shilelagh Law, and many more.
  • 4pm-6pm - For a New Year's Eve Sunday Supper, John Platt will recap his favorite songs and albums of the year and honor some artist we lost in 2024..
  • 6pm-9pm - Cavalcade with Paul Cavalconte counts its blessings for New Year's with the best of 2024 artist visits, including Warren Haynes, Linda and Teddy Thompson, Cactus Blossoms and more.
  • 9pm-11pm - FUV Mix with Benham Jones
  • 11pm-midnight - UKNY with Kara Manning is a roundup of more fave singles, albums, and discoveries of 2024.

Tuesday, December 31

  • 8pm-2am - WFUV's New Year's Eve Party Mix - Headed out for a big bash? Hosting a dinner for a dozen friends? Partying in your pajamas at home? FUV has an all-dancing, all-partying farewell to the old year, welcoming 2025.
