"Cavalcade" blushes in the new spring sunshine (it's great to start the show at 6 p.m. bathed in light) and with robust new music growth sprouting everywhere.
Neal Francis, Kim Deal, Jack White, Lizzo, Jason Isbell, and Tash Sultana offer current songs. A hedge trim of the perennials (from the Grateful Dead and the Yardbirds to the Strokes, Psychedelic Furs and Liz Phair) keeps the grounds in shipshape.
