It's a beautiful world indeed that supports Willie Nelson as a hard-working participant. Teaming with Rodney Crowell, the white-pigtailed stranger checks in, as do Blondshell, Goose, and Little Feat with new offerings.
With St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, a varied dive into the legacy of possibly the saddest of all songs, "Danny Boy" runs a gamut from Eva Cassidy to Jackie Wilson, with unexpectedly gentle takes from a couple of heavy icons in between.
