Lauren Mayberry, the powerful voice of Chvrches, leads a fresh pack of offerings from the inbox, on this evening's "Cavalcade" at 6 p.m. Actor Michael Imperioli is joined by pals Elijah Amitin and Olmo Tighe in ZOPA, the New York based trio with guitar crunch and a whiff of the exotic (zopa means "patience" in Tibetan).
Wyatt Flores, Circa Waves, and the teaming of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Julie Fowlis and Karine Polwart are also hot off the griddle, while favorite pulls from the library wall keep the mix simmering.
