It may be Groundhog Day, but the only shadow we see is of a glorious musical past, as the "Cavalcade" golden anniversary LP crate dig lands in February 1975, with treasures from Grover Washington Jr. to Led Zeppelin and Emmylou Harris to AC/DC (their debut album kicked into gear with the blues standard "Baby Please Don't Go.")

Tonight's new music spins London-born, NY-based songwriter Cornelia Murr, Jersey psychedelic mavens The Grip Weeds, Sunflower Bean, and Tamino with Mitzki. Samples of this year's Academy-Award nominated songs too, including Abraham Alexander and Adrian Quesada from "Sing Sing," and the teaming of Elton John and Brandi Carlile for the documentary "Elton John: Never Too Late."

That's "Cavalcade," Sunday 6-9 p.m. on 90.7FM, streaming online. If you miss any of this Groundhog Day edition of "Cavalcade," it will be (ugh, here it comes) squirreled away in the Archives after broadcast.
