On "Cavalcade" at 6 p.m., Lucius and Trousdale each have new songs ("Gold Rush" and "Growing Pains") that harmonize perfectly. Library gems by Prelude ("After The Gold Rush") and HAIM ("The Wire") complement those.
My Morning Jacket leaks a new track from their forthcoming album, Is, and "Squid Ink" will make its mark on you. Also, nods to some fresh Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame nominees (fresh Phish, that is).
I'll also have an update on our pal David Johansen's ongoing health challenges, and some songs to stimulate thought as we settle into Presidents' Day.
