Madison Colombo

Bio

Madison Colombo has worked at 90.7 WFUV for the last 2 years. Beginning her freshman year of college, she has since grown to become a valued member of the newsroom, and has held many roles, including pm news anchor, reporter, documentary contributor, and podcast producer for “Cityscape” & “Strike A Chord” to name a few. Most recently, she has become a host on the daily news podcast “What’s What”, that features daily culture news from the tri-state area.
One of her favorite aspects of her job is getting to tell the stories of others. Over the last 2 years, she’s had the privilege of interviewing politicians, artists, survivors, and so many more. Getting to learn about the interesting stories of the city and share them with the public has been immensely rewarding and eye-opening.
Madison is a rising senior at Fordham University (‘23), pursuing her bachelor’s degree in journalism with minors in film/television and American studies. She is eternally grateful for the mentorship and guidance she’s received whilst at the station. Madison is certain that she will take the skills from the FUV newsroom with her throughout the rest of her journalism career.
