It's Benham in for Corny. With the school year coming to a close we can now reflect on what we've learned - specifically what we've learned from rock 'n' roll. Lyrics are full of life lessons, adages and takeaways.

Paul Simon offers, "One man's ceiling is another man's floor." Tracy Chapman reminds us, "All that you have is your soul." And "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need" is from The Rolling Stones.

Share a line from a song that has stuck with you as words of wisdom.

  • James Taylor - "Secret O' Life"
  • Lucinda Williams - "Compassion"
