Video: Watch Bon Iver's "Calgary"
Bon Iver's masterful, self-titled sophomore album is out next week, June 21, and the video for the first single "Calgary" has been released.
In the video, directed by Andre Durand and Dan Huiting and based on a treatment by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, there's fire, water and pretty, sleepless people wandering in the woods. It's all very vague too, befitting Vernon's cloaked lyricism.
We're honestly not sure if there's a deep, underlying meaning behind the visuals (Druids? Jungian dream interpretation?) but the song is so beautiful, we don't really care.
