On the first autumnal UKNY of the year, crisp new releases from the buzzy Glasgow quintet White, the artful Leeds collective Fold, and gifted London chanteuse Lyla Foy. Also, we'll note the 35th anniversary of the passing of Led Zeppelin's volcanic drummer John Bonham on September 25, 1980 (which also signaled the true end of Led Zeppelin too). And yes, I might gush a wee bit over my first experience seeing Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters live about a week or so ago.

New Order released Music Complete yesterday, their first album in a decade (and the first with the great Gillian Gilbert since 2001), so expect a deep cut from that very danceable album too, a triumphant return for the legendary Manchester band.

Out dancing yourself? You can catch up to UKNY on demand in the FUV weekend archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
