UKNY For October 7
Summer festival season might be over, but autumn brings some terrific bands and artists to New York for gigs in the very near future like London's Kero Kero Bonito (Elsewhere on October 17), Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys (Rough Trade, October 9), and Django Django (Le Poisson Rouge, October 12).
On UKNY at 11, we'll hear from those folks, plus fresh offerings from Bill Ryder-Jones, Thom Yorke, Strong Asian Mothers, and SOAK, the Derry singer and songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson who returns with a new single three years after the release of her Mercury Prize nominated debut, Before We Forgot How to Dream.
Too worn out from a long week? Catch up to UKNY at your leisure on demand in FUV's Weekend Archives.
