Tonight's UKNY at 11 falls neatly into the last hour of Halloween, the denouement of daylight savings, and the eve of the New York City Marathon. None of which will wholly affect the content of the show, but expect a couple of spooky songs from The Wytches and The Drink, a marathon of a New Order remix, and new releases from Blood Orange and Nat Johnson.

Also, the music of a delighted Mercury Prize nominee, the jazzy and soulful Lewisham singer Eska (pictured), who has been championed by Gilles Peterson, Laura Mvula and Jamie Cullum.

At a Halloween party or getting ready for the marathon? You can catch up to UKNY on demand in the FUV weekend archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
