Wolf Alice didn't win this year's Mercury Prize for a second time (that went to Sam Fender), but the band's fourth album, The Clearing, is one of the very best of 2025. Tonight's "UKNY" at 11p.m. branches out from one of the standout tracks on The Clearing, "Bread Butter Tea Sugar," a tour de force of cozy-day indulgence, with dollops of Harry Nilsson and Electric Light Orchestra, as Ellie, Joff, Theo and Joel hit a euphoric high with producer Greg Kurstin.
