UKNY For October 22
On tonight's UKNY at 11, the FUV Live debut of a session with London pop and R&B artist Jones. Her fragile, sensual, and powerful songs frame a strong soul and reflect her eclectic influences, like Stevie Wonder and the Neptunes. Cherie Jones was raised in the Whitechapel district of east London and earlier this month, she released her debut album, New Skin.
Also, a set from Leeds' own Corinne Bailey Rae — who is part of this year's FUV Holiday Cheer on November 30 at the Beacon Theatre (tix on sale now) — and music from Lou Rhodes, Rival Consoles and more.
Distracted by Kate McKinnon and Alec Baldwin on "Saturday Night Live?" You can stream UKNY in the FUV Weekend Archives for two weeks after broadcast.
