Gothenburg's Yukimi (Nagano) of Little Dragon has been with her bandmates since 1996, when she was still in high school. In the nearly 30-year existence of the band, they've released seven albums, most recently last year's Slugs of Love. And while Little Dragon continues to power forward, Yukimi is branching into a solo career, releasing her debut single this past week, a collaboration with Lianne La Havas and Little Dragon's Erik Boden. On tonight's "UKNY" at 11pm, Yukimi's beguiling song. (Yukimi will be here in New York at (Le) Poisson Rouge on December 2.)

The Cure have swiftly released another track from the finally forthcoming Songs of a Lost World — another selection that Robert Smith and the band have been playing live for the last couple of years. Belfast's riveting Chalk will release their Conditions III EP in February and their first drop from it is gothically, gloriously dark.

Also in tonight's hour: New York's Monobloc, London-based Belgian composer Nala Sinepho, Glasgow/New York's Pardon, and  London's Public Service Broadcasting, whose new aerodynamic Amelia Earhart concept album, The Last Flight, debuts at No. 3 on the UK charts this coming week.

British and global new releases (and more) on "UKNY," Sundays 11 p.m.-midnight, on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
