London-based Dubliners Bleech 9.3 have already sold out their January 21 Mercury Lounge gig (there's a Baby's All Right stop on January 22 too) — and most of their UK/EU tour dates — in anticipation of the quartet's debut album Bleed. Over the past year, and since the release of their self-titled EP earlier this year (and their late 2025 debut single, "Ceiling"), Bleech 9.3's angle on sinewy, fuzz-blasted grunge, and their gritty live gigs has turned heads; little surprise that they've been working with producer Dan Carey (Fontaines D.C., Kneecap). What's even more compelling is Bleech 9.3's genesis; about three years ago, singer Barry Quinlan  met guitarist Sam Duffy at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. On tonight's "UKNY"at 7 p.m., a different side of Bleech 9.3 with their even more melancholy on one of The Cure's classics.

Shygirl's second album, Swallow!, was released on Friday, a sensual, shimmering reflection of Shy's happy relationship. Silver Gore is the duo of Ava Gore and Ethan P. Flynn who've released a new single that they say seesaws between being cheeky — and asking for forgiveness.

Stone Filipczk and Victoria Rose, who are the Philly-based @ (pronounced as "at), played Webster Hall this weekend with This is Lorelei and will be back at Bowery Ballroom on January 27. Their second album, Autosmile, is all beauty and unexpected aside.

Also in tonight's hour, new releases from Clara Serra López, Moses Boyd, Dermot Henry, and Manchester's W.H. Lung, who've released a final song ahead of what they say is an indefinite hiatus for the band.

That's "UKNY," Sundays from 7-8 p.m., on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
