Tonight's UKNY at 11 embraces the slate-grey clouds and gloom of this early May week with equally moody music from Norwich newcomers Let's Eat Grandma and Radiohead's clever Trumptonshire nightmare.

Also, some brighter colors from Manchester's Whyte Horses and Edinburgh's Man of Moon, plus a sultry siren call from Corinne Bailey Rae. It's impossible not to want to play Prince and yes, there's still a British angle to the titan of Minneapolis, via his admiring embrace of Cocteau Twins.

And, as always, a David Bowie track; tonight, a prescient song that looks to the future during a surreal news week.

Missed the show? You can catch up to UKNY on demand as of Monday in the FUV weekend archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
