It's finally May, which means that Britain's hyperactive, colorful, and nearly always muddy festival season is underway. Brighton's busy showcase of fast-rising bands, "The Great Escape," takes place the weekend of May 17-20, and on UKNY at 11 tonight, some of the 400 artists headed to that East Sussex mecca, like Madonnatron, the Orielles, the Vryll Society, Teleman, and Sydney-based Jack River.

Also, another track from the remarkable new collaborative album from London's Simian Mobile Disco and the Deep Throat Choir, called Murmurations, which is released this Friday, May 11.
