Tonight's FUV at 11 takes a longer look at some of the fine albums released over the last month or so from Slowdive (pictured), Clark, Ibibio Sound Machine and Gorillaz. (Slowdive plays Brooklyn Steel on May 8 and 9 too.)

And since the brilliant Burt Bacharach turns 89 next Friday, May 12, a set dedicated to some of the British covers, collaborations and interpolations of songs by the American composer, including those written with his longtime lyricist, the late Hal David.
