Drummer Fay Milton might be best known for her tenure in the British-French band Savages, but since that band has been on hiatus, she's expanded her focus in multiple directions. Not only is she a climate activist and filmmaker, but Milton has been recording as Goddess and will release her self-titled debut album on May 30 on Bella Union. On "UKNY" tonight at 11 p.m., the first single from Goddess, a collaboration between Milton and Ex:Re (who is Elena Tonra of Daughter).

Also in tonight's female-forward mix, new music from Bristol's Billy Nomates,  London-based Clara Mann, Hastings-Brighton's HotWax, Gothenburg's Yukimi, the Miki Berenyi Trio, and Nova Twins, the hard-rocking, 2022 Mercury Prize-nominated duo of Amy Love and Georgia South who'll release their next album, Parasites and Butterflies, on August 29.
