UKNY for March 22

On "UKNY" tonight at 7 p.m., Paris Paloma takes a bite out of AI slop, stealing, and scraping, searching for humanity on her new single. Speaking over Zoom from SXSW in Austin, Texas last week, Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien briefly touches on his journey to his second solo album, Blue Morpho, with more of that conversation to come approaching the album's May 22 release date.
Returning to the mysterious, delightful, Quebecois, polka-dot splattered duo Angine de Poitrine who've finally announced their new album, Vol. II, due out on April 3. Angine de Poitrine have also sold out virtually all of their North American, EU, and UK tour dates (including their New York (Le) Poisson Rouge stops on September 9 and 10).
Witch Post celebrated the release of their second EP, Butterfly, with a rammed-to-the-rafters, sold-out gig at Union Pool on Friday night — I'll have something from their excellent seven-track release. Plus London trio deary, a lovestruck James Blake, Manchester rockers Arkayla, and Edinburgh's Young Fathers, who have a particularly straightforward, potent message on the new HELP(2) benefit album for War Child.
That's "UKNY," Sundays from 7-8 p.m. on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
