Tonight's UKNY at 11 stands at the crossroads between Pepperland and Austin, Texas. On one hand, we'll honor the legacy of producer and mentor Sir George Martin, bouncing from Kate Bush to the Beatles to his own scores, reflecting a baroque sentiment.

However, the bulk of the show is devoted to the young British bands and artists who'll be galloping down Austin's Sixth Street next week with their gear, hoping for greater recognition via a half dozen (or more) SXSW showcases and parties. Our preview will include 16-year-old north Yorkshire songwriter Billie Marten, an acolyte of both Damien Rice and John Martyn; the Hampshire teenage rockers Blaenavon; the ferocious Welsh swagger of Estrons; and Cardiff's Gwenno, who won the 2015 Welsh Music Prize for album of the year for her magnificent solo debut, Y Dydd Olaf.

Did you know that Team FUV will be at SXSW? Yes, indeedy. Read all about our SXSW Radio Day Stage broadcast.

And, as always, a David Bowie track.
