It's an all-Pride hour on UKNY at 11 tonight, celebrating WorldPride, NYC Pride and Stonewall 50 in the waning hour of this Pride month of June. For the full hour, LGBTQ+ artists and allies sing of love, resilience, romance, and unconditional support, like Kate Tempest, Kindness, Self Esteem, David Bowie, Blood Orange, Marieme, C Duncan, and Bloc Party. Love is indeed love, and it's heartening that in 2019, a full generation of LGBTQ musicians can express themselves with freedom, confidence, and unmitigated exultation.

So if you've had a beautiful day at the New York City parade today, keep celebrating with UKNY tonight, 11 p.m. to midnight on 90.7 or streaming online (And "Cavalcade" will have a Pride playlist beginning at 10 p.m. too, so that's two hours of post-Parade tunes). Listen to UKNY on your own time too, in the Weekend Archives.
