On this penultimate day of Pride month — and on this New York Pride weekend — tonight's "UKNY" at 11 p.m. is a rainbow hour of LGBTQ+ artists and allies whose music not only reflects on their own diverse journeys, but the universality of what it means to be human and respected for your identity. And hell, there's a lot of dancing, gallivanting, and joy too.

Manchester-based Egyptian-Sudanese artist Nxdia has released their gutsy, cheeky debut mixtape, I Promise No One's Watching, while Ireland's CMAT conquered Glastonbury on Friday with a gutsy, cheeky set. Multi-hyphenate Sherelle — producer, DJ, musician, and BBC broadcaster — has released her debut album, With a Vengeance, and one of New York's best bands, Model/Actriz, led by the charismatic Cole Haden, will spend much of their 2025 on a massive global tour for their fantastic second album, Pirouette

Also in the hour — more from Self Esteem (also delivering a smashing set at Glastonbury on Friday), a spicy new song from Sofia Kourtesis, the gentle reveries of Jacob Alon, and the revered songwriter, activist, and broadcaster Tom Robinson.

Much more too on "UKNY," Sundays from 11pm-midnight, on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
