UKNY for July 19

At the halfway point of 2026 — or thereabouts — tonight's "UKNY" at 7 p.m. is a roundup of some of the outstanding releases of the year so far.

That partial list includes the polka-dotted, microtonal math rock tornado of Quebec's mysterious Angine De Poitrine and impressive debut albums from Halifax, Yorkshire's Ellur, New York dance duo Fcukers, British-born, Stockholm-based poet and lyricist Joshua Idehen, and London-based Momoko Gill.

Also,  second-album triumphs from Mandy, Indiana, Antony Szmierek, and Knats too, deepening their artistry and adventurous leaps of faith.
