UKNY For July 16
It's a sultry, steamy July day, but tonight's UKNY at 11 looks ahead to the cool promise of autumn releases from Teenage Fanclub, King Creosote and Australia's Julia Jacklin who all have forthcoming albums set for September and October.
Also, Brighton's Cold Pumas, delivering glorious, hazy slices of post-punk dreams, and the solo return of Lou Rhodes, of the electronic duo Lamb. She headed to pastoral Wiltshire to record her beautiful fourth album, Theeyesandeye, which drifts towards breezy, acid folk.
Also, a set inspired by week's FUV Essentials artist, Joni Mitchell.
Out late or asleep early? You can catch up to UKNY in the FUV Weekend Archives for two weeks after broadcast.
