UKNY for January 22
London-born Yazmin Lacey came out of the Nottingham music scene and while working her day job, over the last decade, has grown in stature as one of Britain's most promising singers and songwriters in jazz, R&B, and more. After releasing a handful of EPs since 2017, her debut album, Voice Notes, is finally set for a March 3 release and on "UKNY" tonight at 11 p.m., a song all about people who are very awake at 11 p.m.
Also, new releases from Devon's Pale Blue Eyes, embarking on their biggest UK tour to date, London's Arlo Parks, Montréal's Afternoon Bike Ride, Stockholm's Girl Scout, Melbourne's Gena Rose Bruce, and Italian-born, London-based Emma Tricca.
Late-night British and international releases on "UKNY," Sundays 11 p.m.-midnight, on 90.7 FM, streaming online, and available in the Archives after broadcast.
