There are no walls dividing the international scope of musicians represented on tonight's UKNY at 11, like Mumbai-based producer Sandunes' pretty remix of a song by Tokyo-born Londoner Anchorsong, Amsterdam's vivacious Pip Blom, Auckland's Tiny Ruins, and Hamilton, Ontario's mysterious Ellis

Also, two very intriguing British bands getting some serious attention — Brighton's Thyla (pictured), who conjure a dense dreamscape on their debut EP, What's On Your Mind?, released on Friday via Rex Records, and Cambridge-bred Black Country New Road, a sextet that rose from the ashes of another band's sudden demise and have reinvented themselves with humor, inventiveness, and ravishing jazz-punk chops.
