UKNY For February 27
What haven't we experienced since 2012? If you say "leap year," you're right—and this Monday, February 29, is another bissextile event. In honor of that extra 24 hours, tonight's UKNY at 11 will take broad leaps between vintage muscular basslines (23 Skidoo), surprising new supergroups (Minor Victories), brash young bands (Blossoms) and late night lullabies (Victoria Hume).
And since George Harrison would have celebrated his 73rd birthday this past Thursday, a David Bowie bridge to the most spiritual of the Beatles.
Missed the show? You can catch up to UKNY on demand as of Monday in the FUV weekend archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
