UKNY for February 16

The Scottish-American duo of Dylan Fraser and Alaska Reid call themselves Witch Post and although the pair came from alternate music backgrounds, upon meeting on a train in 2021, they clicked. Their love of The Replacements, Fleetwood Mac, Sonic Youth, and more were part of Witch Post's alchemy as Fraser and Reid began releasing songs and EPs just over a year ago. On "UKNY" tonight at 11 p.m., a recent Witch Post single that definitely channels a Paul Westerberg vibe, ahead of the release their Beast EP on April 8.
Divorce's debut album, Drive to Goldenhammer, is out in the wild world in a handful of weeks, on March 7, and the quartet have released a fourth single from the record, "Hangman."
Also in the mix, The Glasgow-London duet Sacred Paws, who release their first album in five years, Jump Into Life, on March 28, and Hackney's John Glacier, whose debut album, Like a Ribbon, came out on Friday. Yukimi returns with a gorgeous new single featuring Lianne La Havas and the Stroud duo Wings of Desire show their muscle with another one of their fiery anthems.
That's "UKNY," Sundays 11 p.m.-midnight, on 90.7 FM, streaming online and in the Archives after broadcast.
