UKNY For February 11
It's been a week of high drama, snowstorms and otherwise, but on UKNY at 11, we'll indulge in the simple pleasure of great new music from Glasgow-London duo Sacred Paws, Devon's Alice Jemima (pictured), Edinburgh's gruffly soulful Law Holt, the alt-country ache of Irish-born, Yorkshire-raised Holly Macve, and the superb Aussie band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.
Also, a song from the Beatles, this week's FUV Essentials, that still thrills me—no matter how many times I've heard it—and something from the Moonlandingz, a new project from members of Fat White Family and the Eccentronic Research Council. Their forthcoming album, Interplanetary Class Classics, is co-produced by Sean Lennon.
Watching Alec Baldwin on "Saturday Night Live" instead? You can stream UKNY in the FUV Weekend Archives for two weeks after broadcast.
