On tonight's "UKNY" at 11 p.m., an "FUV Live" session with Dry Cleaning featuring a trio of songs from the London quartet's intricate, literate, emotional gut punch of a third album, Secret Love. A counterpoint of practical calm (Florence Shaw's delivery) buttressed by a cyclone of thrashing, rhythmic unrest (Tom Dowse, Lewis Maynard, and Nick Buxton), all 11 songs have a lot to say about the present day.

In this session, Florence, Tom, Lewis and Nick also discussed what producer Cate Le Bon brought into their process, as well as the risks and rewards of speaking one's mind. (They were also joined by touring keyboardist Josh Eggerton for their live performance.)

Also, new releases from Blossom Caldarone, who releases her next EP, Might Smash a Window, in April, and Westside Cowboy, whose second EP, So Much Country 'Till We Get There, is out in the world as of last month.

And noting two deaths last week: Danny Coughlin of Tracyanne & Danny and Crybaby, and the great Sly Dunbar, a drummer whose partnership with Robbie Shakespeare — Sly & Robbie — influenced decades of reggae, ska, rocksteady, pop and rock rhythms.

British and global releases on "UKNY," Sundays 11p.m.-midnight, on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
