On this tinsel-strewn, too-many-mince-pies Boxing Day edition of UKNY at 11, a second (and third) look at some of the promising young bands that dropped first singles this year, delighted me along the way, and happened to make their FUV (or even New York) debuts on this show, like Glasgow's White and London's The Big Moon.

Also, selections from some of my favorite albums or EPs that came out in 2015 via Nat Johnson, Nocturnal Sunshine, Fold and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. And some insightful Boxing Day thoughts from Courtney Barnett too.

Still recovering from your holiday festivities? You can catch up to UKNY on demand as of Monday in the FUV weekend archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
