Songs of this wintry season, holidays and otherwise, from Sunderland's The Futureheads, who've released a new album called Christmas, and Derry-born, County Kildare-based The Divine Comedy.

Rosie Lowe follows in the path of Doye O'Dell and Elvis Presley for her new Christmas single, and Home Counties have an original spin on the whole shebang, with its highs and lows.

Also, more contemplative fare from Dove Ellis, These New Puritans, Dan Mangan, and Laura Mvula, the latter with her gorgeous rendition of a Rodgers and Hart standard.

Warm jumpers, cocoa, and "UKNY" on this last night of Hanukkah and Sunday before Christmas and Kwanzaa on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
