The Last Dinner Party were nominated for the Mercury Prize for their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy, and on "UKNY" at 11 p.m., an interview with Abigail Morris and Aurora Nishevci of the band. The interview was recorded on their tour bus, parked outside of Webster Hall, when they were in New York this spring for two sold-out shows (the other at Brooklyn Steel). Thanks to the band, their management, and Webster Hall for providing three songs from The Last Dinner Party's fiery set for this FUV Live session.

Beabadoobee's tender new song referencing one of her songwriting heroes is one of my favorites on her lovely new album, This is How Tomorrow Moves. (She'll be playing Central Park SummerStage on September 11 and 12.) Also in the mix, new releases from Nilüfer Yanya (at Brooklyn Steel on October 1), Field Music, Human Interest, Lava La Rue (playing Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 2) and Floating Points.

That's "UKNY," British and global releases on Sunday nights from 11pm-midnight, on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
