On tonight's UKNY at 11, music to drift, dream, or dance to, for this particularly gloomy, soggy weekend. Expect a couple of savvy and sweet covers reaching back decades via the Limerick band whenyoung and London's Worst Place. Also, more from the east London septet Tigercats and the Brighton-London trio Our Girl, who finally release their fantastic debut album, Stranger Today, this Friday, August 17.

A new album, The Wood, marks the bold, slinky return of Scottish songwriter Paul Haig, former frontman of Postcard Records' Josef K. And we'll hear a new single from Factory Records alumnus A Certain Ratio, the band's first in a decade, plus a gorgeous track from London-based Swedish composer Patrick Jonsson, whose music you might have also heard in the gripping Oscar-nominated documentary, "White Helmets."

Missed the show? You can always find UKNY on demand in the FUV Weekend Archives, for up to two weeks after broadcast.
