It's been a very good weekend for Everything But the Girl's Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt.  The couple's first album together in 24 years, Fuse, debuted at No. 3 on the UK album charts after its release on April 21, the highest placement of any Everything But the Girl release. "We didn't know what to expect when we made it," wrote Thorn on social media. "A leap of faith after all this time."

On "UKNY" tonight at 11 p.m., digging deeper into that exquisite new album, one that spun out of the pandemic, and poignantly touches upon our dissociative, haunted present.

Grian Chatten, frontman of Dublin-bred Fontaines D.C., has released his first solo single and PJ Harvey is also back with an early taste of what will be her first album in seven years, I Inside the Old Year Dying.

Also planned, something new from Assam-born, London and Brooklyn-based Jitwam, playing Baby's All Right on June 10, and something a bit older from New Delhi's Peter Cat Recording Co., who have sold out their first-ever North American tour, including gigs tonight and tomorrow at Mercury Lounge. Plus new releases from two rising London bands: dream rocker trio Slaney Bay and the super-hyped (and confidently cussy) quintet The Last Dinner Party who have finally released their debut single almost a year after they opened for the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park.

All that and more British and international releases on "UKNY," Sundays from 11p.m.-midnight, on 90.7 FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
