Tyler Ramsey: 2024

The former lead guitarist for Seattle dream-rock group Band of Horses, Tyler Ramsey has been developing his own sound over a solo career that dates back nearly twenty years.

Tyler joined me in Studio A to showcase a few tracks from his latest collection (the impeccable New Lost Ages) and talked about fatherhood, his home in Asheville, and the recent studio experience recording with legendary engineer Phil Ek.

I could have hung out with Tyler all day; he is soft-spoken, but generous and warm. You could describe the three songs that he performed in Studio A in the same way: "Where Were You," "Fires," and "These Ghosts."
