Treetop Flyers - FUV Live - 2013
London folk rockers Treetop Flyers released their first full-length album,The Mountain Moves, earlier this year. The confident collection of harmony-drenched tracks sounds far too accomplished to be a debut. Songs suited to Pacific Highway odysseys or dusty road rambles, like the epic "Haunted House," reveal Treetop Flyers' affection for the lush Laurel Canyon sound of the '60s and '70s, but the quintet deftly avoids mimicry. Treetop Flyers recently stopped by FUV to play a couple of songs live in Studio A and discussed the lucky break that led them from obscurity to the Glastonbury Festival.
