The Lemon Twigs: Rockwood Music Hall 2018

The Lemon Twigs have made a family affair of their second album, Go To School. Home schooling has been the plan before for Brian and Michael D'Addario, with their parents tutoring them in music and recording. Whether the D'Addarios now keep their Long Island neighbors up late with jamming is not known, but the results are impressive.

Critical acclaim has met this concept album, which may very well be on continuous play on Todd Rundgren's dashboard, and the Twigs (yes, they are skinny as twigs) played a generous set of songs from it for FUV at Rockwood Music Hall. The room could barely contain the Lemon Twigs' explosion of sound, with all of its glam stage vibe and power pop energy.
