Tennis - Words and Music - 2012
Wednesday at 9pm on Words and Music: Hear the results of the duo Tennis teaming up with half of The Black Keys on their new album.
I got to interview the band Tennis for their first album, Cape Dory (which I still listen to and I suggest you check out if you are unfamiliar with it). They were typecast from that record as being too cutesy, and I know that really bothered them. I honestly was not sure that they'd continue making music, so I was really happy to see Alaina and Patrick again, and under such great circumstances too. Their new album, Young and Old shows that they've really grown as musicians and it was great to reconnect with them. Also, they're such nice people that you can't help but like them - as you will see (or rather, hear).
