We promise this is gonna be better than any "Friends" marathon! WFUV's Throwback Thursday on August 3 is all about the '90s — grunge, Britpop, neo-soul, boy bands, trip hop — and all that falls between the cracks of that decade.
We've got the '90s FUV Boat happening on August 18 (got your tix yet?), and "TBT: The '90s," from 6 a.m. to midnight on 90.7 FM and streaming online, will definitely inspire you to board our good ship of flannel, music, dance, drinks and overall summertime vibes. And, to badly paraphrase C + C Music Factory and Nirvana, we're gonna make you sweat, and yes, that smells like teen spirit.
So have a mini-rave at the office, reunite with your inner Riot or Spice Grrrl/Girl, sing along with Soundgarden — we'll have all the music you need for a happy and weird Gen X-style flashback to the era of scrunchies and "Twin Peaks."
