Today's "Sunday Supper" welcomes multi-instrumentalist, sideman of jazz & folk greats (from Dizzy Gillespie to Bob Dylan), composer, conductor, and American treasure, David Amram.

Still vibrant at almost 94, he is a living link to legends and an inspiration to several generations of younger artists.

This week's show also toasts two significant songwriters who passed recently: JD Souther, who gave us hits for Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, and James Taylor, among others; and Billy Ed Wheeler, whose songs have been covered by Kathy Mattea, Johnny & June Carter Cash, Richie Havens, and many more.

Celebrate greatness between 4:00-6:00 p.m. EDT at 90.7 and streaming online, always on-demand in the Archives, on the WFUV app, or the age-defying smart speaker of your choice.
