With all the hoopla about Bob Dylan and A Complete Unknown, it's fortuitous that Monday marks the 50th anniversary of his milestone album, Blood on the Tracks. "Sunday Supper" celebrates with an extended medley of covers, all by women, including Joan Osborne, Joan Baez, Madeleine Peyroux, Mary Lee's Corvette, and more.

Monday is also the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. I'll toast his legacy in songs by James Taylor, Harry Belafonte, Pete Seeger, and Peter, Paul & Mary. (I'll leave it to the pundits to cover the inauguration.) And listen for new releases by Jon Batiste, Josh Ritter, The Twangtown Paramours, Tamino, and Roger Street Friedman.

Let music ring between 4:00-6:00 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM and streaming online, as well as on-demand in the Archives, on the WFUV app, or the inspiring smart speaker of your choice.
